CHINA UNION PAY (CUP)
EEC has an Interface for China Union Pay (CUP) to process CUP cards; this interface
specifically enables Banks and their merchants to access the CUP International Card
Network and to acquire CUP cards.
The CUP interface fully meets the general and specific requirements, with some customisation
by Partner Banks, that enables over 1 Billion Chinese CUP cardholders to access
payment devices outside of China which creates an excellent opportunity for Banks
to drive additional transactions to their networks. The interface has been certified
by CUP and can respectively or synthetically apply to Third-party vendor service
systems, ATM switching (pre-console) systems, POS switching (pre-console) systems
and Banks conjunction switching (pre-console) system.
The interface supports a dynamic extent of services, also various types of message
analysis. It also supports complex routing, such as sending card information and
transaction messaging to the appointed host through the base switching system and
feeds back the related response to the requesting terminal.
The interface can carry out overall parameter configurations and management by providing
full function management system. It also has comprehensive statistic (Stats) reports
form generating function. The report form can be customised and configured to rapidly
provide comprehensive Stats. data to the switch manager according their actual demands
so that the manager can have a powerful means and access to data analysis for prompt
decision-making.
